Suburb Profiles > Daisy Hill
Surrounded by the Daisy Hill State Forest, this established suburb offers a range of old and new homes – many nestled in valleys or on hills.

Timber and brick homes from the 1970s coupled with brick and tile houses make up the majority of existing dwellings.

Daisy Hill is popular with families and couples and is home to a primary school. There are two high schools located in nearby Springwood including
John Paul College which is regularly voted as one of the best in the country. The Logan campus of Griffith University and the Logan TAFE are located in the region.

The Chatswood Village Shopping Centre is located in Daisy Hill with the Logan Hyperdome just a short drive away.

The nearby Southeast Busway is an excellent public transport system providing residents with easy access to the city, with Daisy Hill also close to the Pacific Motorway, and Loganlea and Kuraby train stations.

The suburb is also home to the Daisy Hill Koala Centre, located in the Daisy Hill Forest Reserve. As well as being an educational facility, the area is also popular for picnics.
